Quad Shout-outs:
This week I’ve got a shout-out from America of 2nd West for…
The “Quad Queens” of W206 (Khaire and America) - Because they have done a good job at being hype queens, on top of work, keeping their area clean and being welcoming!
- If you’d like to submit your own Quad shout-out, click on the shout-out link!
Things you need to know:
Roommate agreements are due today! If you don’t have it done, by Monday, Hannah (the HRA) and I will create our hit list and start coming after you.
The Quad bathrooms should be cleaned daily by our cleaning staff. We are working to make sure they clean during the posted times on your bathroom door. Please help out in this process by planning to not use the bathroom during those posted times.
POLICY REMINDERS:
Quiet hours begin at 10pm Sunday through Thursday, and 12am (midnight) on Friday and Saturday. That includes public areas like the lobbies (no piano or air hockey after quiet hours).
- For more info on Housing policies check out the Housing Handbook online.
Upcoming stuff:
We have begun planning our first Quad building event of the year. Coming soon - the first week of October! Keep your eyes out for more info from your RA!
The first home football game will also be the Homecoming game on Saturday, September 26th.
I hear rumors of a housing pool tournament being planned by some RAs. Keep an eye out for that as well.
Follow our Quad Instagram if you don’t already so you can always be in the know!
Housing Org News:
Click on any of the housing orgs listed below, follow them on Instagram, and see what opportunities they have for you to get involved!
QuadCast Challenge:
Last week’s challenge was:
Email me a picture of you with your roommate to win a pillow case and Starbucks drink.
And the winner (by random selection) is… Ajiah Brown!
This week’s challenge is:
Send me a riddle! I LOVE riddles. I will do a blind riddle test to pick my favorite one. I like true riddles. Something that has a real answer and is solvable - not a clever joke, but a true riddle. But I’ve been around a while and have heard many riddles, so don’t make it too easy either. The winner will get a coffee mug (or cup) of your choice from the campus Starbucks. Let the games begin!
Send them to mtitterington@uco.edu
That’s all for this episode of the QuadCast.
Get connected and make an impact wherever you are!
Have a great week everyone. ‘Till next time!
