The University of Central Oklahoma Jazz Faculty celebrated Fat Tuesday with a night of high-energy traditional jazz. “Fat Tuesday” was held at 7 p.m. on February 17, 2026, at the UCO Jazz Lab and featured faculty artists Brian Gorrell, clarinet; Garrett Jacobson, piano; Jeff Kidwell, trombone and vocals; Clint Rohr, trumpet and vocals; Clayton Roffey, banjo; Tony Romano, drums; and Lee Rucker, tuba.
The Faculty Artist Concert Series showcased the artistry of UCO School of Music faculty while raising scholarship funds to support students in financial need. Proceeds from each performance benefited the Faculty Artist Concert Series Student Fund. Viewers were invited to learn more or support the series at centralconnection.org/facs.
