Episode Notes:
Shout outs:
- This week I’ve got a
shoutout submitted for RA Will Young for “always going above and beyond
for his residents and his friends on 1st and 2nd floor North!”
- Submit
your own shoutouts here!
Things you need to know:
- The east
elevator is currently shut off. We are just waiting for a part to come in
to make it a smoother ride for you all.
- Policy
reminder:
Do not prop doors open. If you see someone else propping a door, then take
the thing they propped it with, and yeet it into the trash!
Upcoming stuff:
- Our room checks will be happening next week. The main purpose
for these is to make sure smoke detectors are working and there are no
other major safety concerns in each room.
- The
International Festival is this Saturday (tomorrow)! It starts at 11 and I
would get there early to make sure to grab some delicious (and free!) food.
- November 14th there will be an RHA Fall Fest
happening here in the Quad Courtyard. Also, if you want to help RHA
(that’s the Residence Hall Association) do fun big activities like this,
contact Mack Hines (mhines8@uco.edu).
- The
Quad DVD Swap Meet is from the 2010 era (coming to the Quad Lobby on
November 29th! That’s a different date than previously advertised.
Reminder, we have all the DVDs for this. Plus free pizza! So just
come on out!
Quad Challenge:
- Last week’s challenge was “How old is Copper our corgi dog?”
There were several submissions. The correct answer is 2 years and 4 months
old. So the winner with the closest answer was Ryan Szymanski who
said she was born on September 12th two years ago (so 2 years and 2 months
old). Congrats! Email me for your free pizza!
- This week’s challenge is:
Email me one amazing fact about yourself and will announce it on next
week’s episode. It can be anything! I will pick one or two people and
declare you an amazing person with your amazing fact. So send your facts
to mtitterington@uco.edu!
That's all for
now. Have a great week!
