Shout out:
- This week there is a shout-out for…
- Kai from 3rd West - 너무 멋있어서 ( “Because they are so cool”)
- If you’d like to submit your own shoutout, click on the shout-out link and yours will be featured on a future episode of the QuadCast!
Things you need to know:
- If you would like to record the intro for the QuadCast, you can! Just send me a video of yourself with the following…
- Start with “Hi, my name is_______”
- Then say where you are from (what hallway of the Quad, or hometown. Your choice)
- End by saying “And this is the QUADCAST!”
- Healthy Tip - As gross as it sounds beef liver has crazy high amounts of iron, B12, Vitamin A, Vitamin D, and more. Mix it in with ground beef and you can’t even tell!
- Continuing our Healthful Tips for November and Fight The New Drug’s “No-Porn-November” campaign, check out their really fun and entertaining documentary called "Brain Heart World".
- RA Applications for 2025-2026 are live! This job application will NOT be posted on the UCO job board. So you’ll need to go to the direct link for the 2025-2026 RA Application in order to apply.
- POLICY REMINDER: No…you cannot have a snake as a pet. And no it does not count as an ESA. Snakes are not animals we would approve as ESAs anyway.
- For more info on Housing policies check out the Housing Handbook online.
Upcoming stuff:
- Quad outdoor movie night in the Courtyard will be on Monday, November 18th at 6pm! We are watching Shrek! We’ll have popcorn and snacks. Bring a blanket. If the weather is bad we’ll move it indoors.
QuadCast Challenge:
- Last week's challenge: Email me your favorite dish or meal during the holidays. Whichever one sounds the most delicious to me and Haylee will win!
- This winner is Kyleigh McGough from 2nd West!
- Kyleigh’s response: “For the holidays my family makes a bunch of food. This is my favorite meal of all time. I’ll have a juicy pot roast with potatoes and carrots, a cheesy broccoli rice casserole, corn bread casserole, hash brown casserole, chicken spaghetti, grilled cabbage, home grown black eyed peas, delicious buttered dinner rolls and sweet tea. For dessert there’s normally a variety to choose from. My favorite is chocolate pie, but I’ll also have homemade banana pudding, and banana nut bread. We also have chocolate covered Oreos/pretzels, chocolate fudge and peanut clusters. Yes I know it sounds like a lot but it’s so good and my stomach just happens to grow bigger than normal around the holidays.”
- This week’s challenge is:
- Email me a brilliant study tip you use. I will post all of the study tips I receive on the next QuadCast. And I’ll choose one person at random to also recieve a free Housing Hype T-shirt (I just have to convince the HH President first…)
That’s all for this episode of the QuadCast.
Don’t forget to follow the Quad Instagram page, check your email, and pay attention to your GroupMe.
Have a great week everyone!
