Shout outs: 

• This week I’ve got a shoutout submitted for Diana Martinez from 3rd East. Diana deserves the biggest shoutout for being extremely kind and helpful to others. She is a great example of patience and sincerity. She is my best friend, roommate, and study buddy who has enhanced my life and leadership skills in more than one way! Thank you!

Things you need to know:

• The elevator saga continues….it’s still down….and the mobs are forming around my office. I can feel it.
• Policy reminder: no space heaters (you know those electric plug-in heaters) allowed in your dorm! Just sleep in your socks.

Upcoming stuff: 

• Next week is dead week/quiet week and that means 24-hour quiet hours all week. The exception to this is between 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM each day. This will be “courtesy hours” when you ARE ALLOWED to listen to music, vacuum, etc. if needed.
• When you head out for winter break, you do NOT need to turn your key in. Just fyi.
• Also make sure you are cleaning up before you leave. When you leave you must clean out your min-fridge! Throw away and food or drinks in there. It will get GROSS!
• Today around 1pm we will be going around to judge the hallways and your decorations. Winners will be announced on next week’s episode (the last one of the semester!). There will be a prize for the best lounge as well as prizes for the best decorated dorm room door in the building.

Quad Challenge:

• Last week’s challenge was to have a good break, and I hope you all did that.
• This week’s challenge is: send me a selfie of you studying hard this week (or hardly studying). And I will feature your photos in the email next week. Give me enough pics for a compilation! I’ll also throw it on the Quad Instagram.
