Shout out:

• This week I’ve got a shoutout submitted for Ethan Noble, RA of 2nd North. (Listen to the episode to hear what it is!)

• If you’d like to submit your own shoutout, click on the shout-out link and submit one today! 

Things you need to know:

• There will be a big Housing survey sent to you in a couple of weeks. It is really important to us and we use the info every year to help make Housing a better place to be.

• Policy reminder: There are no sports allowed to be played in the hallways (e.g. soccer, football, frisbee golf, etc.). This is to limit any damages that may occur in the building.

Upcoming stuff: 

• If you are interested in being an RA next year the applications close February 9th! Applications can be found at jobs.uco.edu.

• The Quad will be partnering up with the Co-op again to put on a video game tournament. So, look for info on this Super Smash Bros. tournament at the end of the month.

• There will be some free stuff given away at a few sporting events coming up. Housing Hype is sponsoring it. Go to the wrestling match on Sunday at 2pm in Hamilton Field House and get a free foam finger giveaway to use to cheer them on. 

• And at the end of the month there will be another beanie (and jersey) giveaway at the basketball games on February 29th.

Quad Challenge:

• Last week's challenge was to name the building that was torn down to make room for the Quad to be built here 9 years ago? The answer to this was “East Hall.”  And the winner, with the correct answer was… Courtney Brown of 3rd West!  Email me to come claim your prize!

• This week’s challenge is: Send your most awkward, embarrassing, or funny Valentine’s Day story from childhood (i.e. before high school), and I’ll pick my favorite one to win a pair of UCO cotton gloves and a t-shirt from my stash.
