Shout out:

• This week I’ve got a shoutout to Paighton Barnes for helping put together the Smash Tournament last night in the Quad Lobby. There was a big turnout. Thanks for your hard work!

Things you need to know:

• Last reminder to check your inbox for an email from Housing that says “UCO Housing Values Your Feedback!” This is a big survey sent to lots of colleges and universities.

• Reminder that if you lost something, ask. And if you found something, laying on the ground that, bring it to your RA or to my office.

• Policy reminder: In the Quad, if the smoke detectors go off, initially they will sound in the room, and in case of an actual fire, they will set off the alarms throughout the building. Also, fire alarm pull boxes are available, but, remember, there are big consequences for pulling one if there is no fire.

Upcoming stuff:

• Spring Break is coming! Make sure to plan accordingly with your roommate to ensure there’s no food or trash left behind that will get funky when you return from break.

• Cheer and Dance is next week! You should go!

• RHA is looking to put on a campus-wide event later this month in partnership with football and other groups of campus. If you haven’t heard of RHA, you need to! It is run by residents and for residents. So contact mhines8@uco.edu or mkelly18@uco.edu if you are interested in joining!

Quad Challenge:

• This week’s challenge is: Write a kind note to a roommate, friend, or professor encouraging them this week. Send a picture of your note to me and you could win a prize!
