Things you need to know:

The blue recycling bin in the archway vestibule area of the Quad is for plastic bottles ONLY! Specifically #1 plastics. But if you don’t know how to read the recycling labels, just stick to plastic water bottles only. Don’t put cardboard, aluminum cans, or other recyclables in there. And PLEASE don’t put trash in there. Thanks!
Weather is cooling down, so talk with your roommate about room temperature preferences. The best way to avoid roommate conflicts is to communicate, communicate clearly, and communicate often.
If you have an amazing idea for the kind of furniture that we should consider purchasing for the main lobby, let me know! Email me! We are looking to buy new furniture to replace the old, and create a better environment for you all.
Policy reminder: Please adhere to the posted quiet hours. This applies to the lobbies as well. Don’t play piano or have raucous games of billiards happening after quiet hours.

Upcoming stuff:

Tomorrow (Saturday) is the second home football game. So wear your BLUE Hype shirt to the game.

Housing Hype would like to remind everyone, if you go to the game, tag @ucohousinghype because if you go to ANY two home football games you will automatically receive a brand new t-shirt from housing hype! The same goes for soccer and volleyball games this semester. If you have a private account, just DM them so they know to follow you.

Also upcoming is a special super secret Quad event happening on October 1st! Mark your calendars and watch for more cryptic messages from the RAs.
The Resident Satisfaction Survey will be coming out in a couple of weeks. That is your chance to tell us honestly about your experience so far living in Housing.
