Shout out:
Things you need to know:
There are new trees in the Courtyard to replace the dead ones! You don’t necessarily NEED to know that. But I think it’s pretty cool.
A new hammock should be arriving this coming week to put up in the courtyard.
Like I said last week, if you’ve got a great idea for some new furniture that we should put in the Quad lobby, shoot me an email. Let me know and I’ll consider it when we make our project proposal next week!
POLICY REMINDER! Quiet hours do extend to common spaces such as study rooms, the lobby, piano, and the Quad Kitchen. If you are in those spaces after quiet hours, please respect all residents by keeping it down.
- For more info on Housing policies check out the Housing Handbook online (link in the email show notes).
Upcoming stuff:
Our special Quad building event is happening on October 1st at 7pm. The location was revealed this week on Instagram, so go check it out. Mark your calendars and watch for more cryptic messages from the RAs.
The Resident Satisfaction Survey will be coming out next week. That is your chance to tell us honestly about your experience so far living in Housing.
Homecoming is on the far off horizon, but start talking to your RA about how to decorate your hall. We’ve given them a budget for a reason, so you, the residents, make sure they use it!
Quad Challenge:
Last week's challenge: ....No one submitted one! So the prize will remain the same this week.
This week’s challenge is: Email me (
mtitterington@uco.edu)
what you think the color of the math folder should be and why. The most convincing argument wins.
You’ll get a t-shirt from my tote of prizes, and a QuadCast laptop sticker!
Outro:
That’s all for this episode of the QuadCast.
Don’t forget to follow the Quad Instagram page, check your email, and pay attention to your GroupMe.
Have a great week everyone!
