Quad Shout-outs:
Marcus Norwood (RA of 2nd North) - He’s so uplifting and he’s always willing to help out or always willing to walk you somewhere so you’re not by yourself.
Natalie Rippy (RA of 2nd West) - Being a fun and involved RA!

Things you need to know:
There have been some adjustments made to the heating and cooling system in the Quad to provide a more comfortable environment. It should also cut down on some of the humidity some of you have experienced. So keep an eye on that and let your RA know if you have any questions or concerns.
The ping pong and pool table equipment is free to use. But here are two quick things to know:
First, if anything is broken or needs to be replaced, just send me a message and I will happily get new equipment. I want to keep things nice for you.
Which brings me to the second thing - please respect the equipment and take ownership of it. This is our home. Let’s keep it nice.
POLICY REMINDERS:
Any guests you have who want to stay overnight must be approved by your roommate. Not doing so is a violation of housing policy.
For more info on Housing policies check out the Housing Handbook online.
Upcoming stuff:
First home football game is tomorrow (if you are watching this on Friday)! Wear your white shirts you received on move-in day.
October 7th is a super special, super fun, Quad-wide event. It has become a favorite tradition of mine. It’s also a tradition to keep details secret till later on. But more info will be dropped to you soon!
Also, keep an eye out for Girl Talk with the Quad Mom later this month!
Follow our Quad Instagram page if you don’t already so you can always be in the know!
Housing Org News:
Click on any of the housing orgs listed below, and follow them on Instagram!
Housing Hype - Go to the first home football game, wear your shirt, take a photo of yourself at the game, and submit it to the "Game Tracker". After two home football games are tracked, you’ll earn an additional Hype shirt!
RHA - Bi-weekly meetings, every other Monday, starting Sept 8th. 2:30-3:00pm in West Hall Lobby.
Dining Activities Council (DAC) - Tailgating on Saturday, Sept 6th, before the home football game on the patio of Ayers Kitchen from 4-6pm. Games, goodie bags, and more!
